Position Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated network and systems administrator to join the Product Operations and IT team. Ideal candidates must have a strong systems administration background, with a primary focus on networking. Candidates should be innovative, adaptable and self-directed. Experience in an online gaming or similar regulated industry a huge plus. As this position interfaces with many internal and external industry partners, a professional attitude with excellent communication skills is a must.
Responsibilities:
-Design, implementation and support of internal networking systems including firewalls, routers, switches, load-balancers and VPNs
-Policy creation, management, and documentation regarding VPNs, tunnels, applications
-Configure/setup, maintain and troubleshoot internal servers – automation of redundant processes
-Participate in infrastructure and capacity planning
Requirements:
-5+ years network and systems administration experience in multi-platform environments (Windows/Solaris/Redhat)
-Strong knowledge of network architectures, protocols and security fundamentals – Cisco CCNP certification a plus
-Expertise in configuring and maintaining network hardware/software – Nokia, Checkpoint, Cisco, Foundry
-Strong UNIX administration skills including LDAP, DNS, DHCP, NIS, NFS, NAS, Jumpstart, Kickstart
-Experience working with 3-tiered architectures, using Apache, Weblogic, and Informix – load balancing, firewalls, security concepts
-Excellent communication and documentation skills
-Highly motivated and competent with decision-making ability to work without close supervision
