Senior Developer San Francisco 415
Description: Scope: We are looking for a Senior Developer to assist in architecture, design, and implementation of a distributed media web-service application. This role will have a major influence over future technology choices, best practices, and technical direction.
General Requirements: Java development, proper use of design patterns, Unit testing best practices. Must be familiar with HTTP1.1, servlets, application security, JNDI, etc... Knowledge in any of the following areas a major plus; Ruby, Perl, Flex2, C#, JDBC/SQL.
Current technologies: XML, JDBC, JAXB, SAX, Adobe Flex, NIO/java, XMPP, Mysql, Lucene, and Tomcat Planned technologies: Ruby, C# (for portions of our service).
Location: San Francisco
