Regional Account Manager - San Bruno Ca 650        

Summary:

The Regional Account manager (RAM) is responsible for selling company’s products to accounts in an assigned geographical territory.  The RAM will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales.  This individual must be passionate about uncovering leads, building relationships, and closing new business.  The RAM will report to the VP of Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Take qualified opportunities through the sales cycle in a rapid, professional manner
· Provide superior presentations, demonstrations, and proposals of solutions to prospective customers
· Provide excellent customer account management to retain and upgrade existing customers
· Continually prospect for new clients and secure incremental revenue through closing new business
· Produce regular forecast reports for sales.  Review RFP’s and make recommendations
· Coordinate with VP of Sales regarding territory strategy and execution plan
· Travel to customer locations as necessary

Required knowledge, skills, education and experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 3 years of success in Software and/or High Tech infrastructure sales
· Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
· Success in selling to medium and large companies
· Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
· Excellent time-management and independent judgment, as well as the highest level of integrity
· Familiarity with a variety of sales concepts, strategies, and best practices
