Perm Technical Support Engineer to work with messaging applications in  San Francisco.

Guided by department objectives and priorities, the Technical Support Engineer provides support and administration of Messaging and Collaboration Applications.

Performs installation, maintenance and administration of Microsoft and third party messaging applications including MS Exchange, KVS Enterprise Vault and the Tumbleweed application suite as well as spam filtering and email disaster recovery.

Our ideal candidate will have a college level degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.

Four years experience with Windows Server 200x Server administration and Microsoft BackOffice systems with advanced knowledge in MS Exchange desired.

Working knowledge of MS SQL, Tumbleweed applications suite and KVS Enterprise Vault are highly desirable.

Working knowledge of Hummingbird Document Management is a plus.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills; excellent initiative and assertiveness.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively a fast-paced, high performance environment. Effective project management skills. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel in a team environment. Strong organizational skills required.
