Inside Sales Manager - San Bruno, CA
The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is primarily responsible for hiring, developing, leading and coaching inside sales professionals to maximize the effectiveness of lead generation, lead qualification and sales activity. The ISM reports directly to the VP of Sales and will work with the Regional Account Managers to assist in lead transfer of enterprise level software deals.
Job Detail: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Achieve sales goals by hiring and training outstanding employees and coaching them to develop selling skills and maintain adequate sales pipeline
-mplement and execute training programs
-Provide strong leadership and motivate team to overachieve
-Develop and implement procedures for improving productivity, and prospect qualification ratio
-Introduce best practices in script testing/calling cycles and up-selling
-Provide management with detailed and accurate team progress reports
-Set, measure and report on performance against targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
-Perform outbound prospecting and qualifying activities by cold-calling
-Disseminate fully qualified opportunities to appropriate sales representative
Required knowledge, skills, education and experience:
-Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
-3+ years of sales and management experience in quota-based telesales/telemarketing, preferably in Web content management or site search technologies
-Strong experience prospecting into Fortune 1000 companies
-Solid written and oral communication skills, with a goal-oriented focus
-Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and motivational skills
-Excellent people management skills including teamwork development and conflict resolution
-Experience with salesforce.com or similar sales automation tool
-Experience managing the build-out of the Telesales infrastructure
